Food Ministry

Food Pantry

The purpose of the St. Paul's Food Pantry is to serve Christ and participate in His compassion by sharing food with those in need.  The pantry also supports the local backpack program providing kids with nutritious and easy-to-prepare food they need to get enough to eat on the weekends.

Customers can contact the church office at 217-568-7196 or Lou Fletcher-Roy at 217-418-6556 to set up an appointment or request a home delivery.

Individuals who are interested in making donations can place non-perishable items in the designated baskets located inside both the east and west doors of the church or call Lou Fletcher-Roy at 217-418-6556 for pick up.  Monetary donations can be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church annotating it is for the St Paul's Food Pantry.  Monetary donations for the Backpack Program should be dropped off or mailed to Gifford Grade School.

Food Distributions

St. Paul's partners with the Community Service Center of Northern Champaign County in Rantoul to do free food distributions 3-4 times per year. Contact Gary Maxwell at for details about our next distribution.
